Battlefield 2042

The Battlefield franchise is a series of first-person shooter video games developed by Swedish company EA DICE and published by American company Electronic Arts. The series began with Battlefield 1942, released in 2002. The games take place during historical events, an alternate history, and in the future. Gameplay is mainly composed of first-person shooter aspects, with a large emphasis on vehicle combat on land, in the air, and to some extent, the sea.
Battlefield 2042 is the latest installment in the series. It was released on November 19, 2021. The game is set in a near-future world on the brink of chaos, where food shortages, energy scarcity, and polluted water are commonplace as nations begin to collapse fighting over these vital resources. The United States and Russia continue a global conflict impacting everyone in their wake. This is the backdrop for you, soldier, as you step into the shoes of “The Non-Patriated” (a.k.a. “No-Pats”) who are fighting to try and restore order in this global war on resources.
Battlefield 2042 can be experienced across three dynamic gameplay modes: All-Out Warfare, Hazard Zone, and Portal. Each mode offers its own blend of multiplayer warfare and iconic Battlefield moments. The game introduces the new Specialists feature, an evolution of the classic team-based approach to squads. This new feature allows squads to mix and match their playstyles to focus on the way they want to play. Each Specialist features a Specialty and a Trait that can only be used by them. When combined with a ton of loadout customization options, you have a lot of choice in creating and playing as a soldier that suits your style of play. Battlefield 2042 is now available worldwide on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Sonic Superstars

The Sonic the Hedgehog series is a renowned franchise of platform video games created and owned by Sega. The franchise was created mainly by Japanese developers Yuji Naka, Naoto Ohshima, and Hirokazu Yasuhara. The series follows Sonic, an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog who battles the evil Doctor Eggman, a mad scientist. The main Sonic the Hedgehog games are platformers mostly developed by Sonic Team; other games, developed by various studios, include spin-offs in the racing, fighting, party, and sports genres.
Sonic Superstars is a 2023 platform game developed by Arzest and Sonic Team and published by Sega. It features side-scrolling gameplay similar to the Sonic the Hedgehog games released for the Sega Genesis in the 1990s. As one of four player characters — Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, and Amy Rose —the player completes side-scrolling levels as they set out to defeat Doctor Eggman and Fang the Hunter. Superstars introduces power-ups that the player can obtain by collecting the seven Chaos Emeralds and four-player local multiplayer. Halo Master Chief Collection

The Halo franchise is a series of first-person shooter video games developed by Bungie and currently managed and developed by 343 Industries, part of Microsoft’s Xbox Game Studios. The series launched in 2001 with the first-person shooter video game Halo: Combat Evolved and its tie-in novel, The Fall of Reach(my favorite). The mainline Halo games present a sequential storyline, though several spin-offs complicate the series’ chronology.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a compilation of first-person shooter video games in the Halo series. The collection was released in November 2014 for the Xbox One, and later ported to Microsoft Windows and Xbox Series X/S3. The collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach, and Halo 4. Each game in The Master Chief Collection received graphical upgrades. Halo 2 received a high-definition redesign of its video, audio, and cutscenes to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
In March of 2019, it was announced that Halo: Reach would be remastered and released on the Xbox One as part of the collection, and that The Master Chief Collection was set to release on PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam, with Reach spearheading the release. Halo: Reach was released simultaneously on both editions of The Master Chief Collection on December 3, 2019. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary followed, and was launched specifically on PC on March 3, 2020, with Halo 2: Anniversary following on May 12, 2020.
Dead Space Remake

The Dead Space franchise is a series of survival horror video games created and directed by Glen Schofield. The franchise was developed by Visceral Games and published and owned by Electronic Arts. The franchise’s chronology is not presented in a linear format; each installment in the Dead Space franchise is a continuation or addition to a continuing storyline, with sections of the storyline presented in prequels or sequels, sometimes presented in other media from the originating video game series, which includes two films and several comic books and novels.
Dead Space Remake is a 2023 survival horror game developed by Motive Studio and published by Electronic Arts. It is a remake of the 2008 game of the same name developed by EA Redwood Shores. The game was released for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on January 27, 2023. It is the first release in the Dead Space series since 2013’s Dead Space 3. Like the original game, it is set on a mining spaceship overrun by deadly monsters called Necromorphs following the discovery of an artifact called the Marker. The player controls engineer Isaac Clarke as he navigates the spaceship and fights the Necromorphs while struggling with growing psychosis.
The Dead Space Remake will not receive any DLC or expansions. The game features various changes from the original game. Unlike the original game where he was a silent protagonist, Isaac now has voice lines of his own. In addition, previous voice lines and conversations remade for the game were adjusted to include Isaac, allowing him to engage, argue, and bond with the other characters. The game also features more gore than the original, introducing a “peeling” system in which the player can tear and destroy the bodies of the Necromorphs.
